Before joining Made to Help, I spent over 5 years in the financial industry before into a role within the Housing Team at Indigenous Business Australia as a Principal Loan Management Officer.
I hold two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Queensland: a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Peace & Conflict Studies, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. My extensive educational background, combined with my professional experience, equips me with exceptional attention to detail, communication, and coordination skills.
Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to empathy, advocacy, and social justice, particularly in my work with marginalized communities. My passion for equality and my ability to understand and meet the needs of others make me a valuable asset in any support and advocacy role. What truly drew me to the role of Support Coordinator through the NDIS was the opportunity to help others meaningfully. This aligns with my passion for making a difference and providing assistance to those in need.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing football, traveling, and drinking coffee. Most days, you can find me at my wife’s café, enjoying a drink and the atmosphere. I cherish spending time with my daughter, whether it’s embarking on bike rides, building IKEA furniture, going to the park, watching Bluey, or making coffee together. With 30 years of personal experience supporting a loved one with a disability, I understand the challenges that come with navigating the NDIS and societal barriers to equality.
I bring a strong sense of advocacy, courage, and passion to my work and strive to make a positive impact on the lives of those I support.
In my spare time I’m a slave to my kids basketball and I escape the pressures of life with my art, I especially like water colours and drawing.
My pet hate is it’s “football” not “soccer”.

As an experienced NDIS Support Coordinator, I bring a unique combination of skills and expertise in arts programming, accessibility, and inclusion for individuals with disabilities.
With over 12 years of experience in the arts education sector, I am a skilled facilitator and mentor, able to provide 1:1 and group support.
My expertise extends to event management, production, and administration, as well as venue and contract management. I have experience in coordinating wellness and accessibility procedures, and managing volunteers to provide support to LGBTQI, People of Color, and minority communities.
My background in teaching spoken word poetry, oral storytelling, communication, self-awareness and social justice workshops across primary/high schools and diverse communities, has prepared me to support participants in understanding and achieving their goals through the NDIS.

As a NDIS Support Coordinator, I get to spend my days working closely with Participants, their families, and their Care Teams. I enjoy the opportunity to work within a team to support and empower someone to achieve their individual goals.
I don’t have kids, but I do have cats.
Possum is a little ball of fluff; she dribbles and yells for food constantly. And Felix, a long-haired tuxedo boy with diabetes.
I love to learn and am currently finishing a bachelor’s in forensic science and a bachelor’s in criminology, along with an Advanced Diploma in Psychology.
I have experience in the Aged Care sector, particularly within the dementia and palliative care sectors. I ventured out into disability supports and then shortly found myself in Support Coordination.
I love caring for and supporting people. I appreciate the unique privilege the role plays within participants lives and feel determined to ensure my participants are living the lives they want to.

As a Support Coordinator, my focus is on helping individuals achieve their goals by connecting them with the right services and supports. I’m passionate about making a positive impact in people’s lives.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, which I earned in 2020.
My journey began with a Certificate IV in Mental Health while working as a clerk in a hospital. After that I gained valuable experience in the Disability and Mental Health sector, and I pursued Social Work. In addition to my professional background, I have also served as an interviewer and coach in the Social Research sector.
Outside of work, I find comfort in playing the piano during my free time, and I enjoy exploring nature through walks and photography. Music, animals, and poetry are my passions.
